Felonies reported in Waushara County

The Waushara County felonies as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:

• Christopher A. Abitz, 32, Coloma, appeared in court on Oct. 23 for an initial appearance for two counts Manufacture/Deliver THC (<=200g), Possession of THC (2nd + Offense), Possess Drug Paraphernalia, Possess/Illegally Obtained Prescription. A status conference is scheduled for Nov. 28.

•Thomas M. Falesnik, Jr., 49, Wautoma, appeared in court on Oct. 24 for a final pre-trial hearing for Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 6.

• Jason Sydney Harris, 47, Berlin, appeared in court on Oct. 24 for a plea/sentencing hearing for two counts Forgery, two counts Violate/Harassment Restraining Order and two counts Bail Jumping-Felony. He received for two counts Forgery, Bail Jumping-Felony Violate/Harassment Restraining Order: sentence withheld 3 years probation, conditions: Count 2 of 17CF151: 4 months in Waushara County Jail, with Huber privileges, no good time credit, 1 day credit for time served, to begin no later than Dec. 20; conditions on both cases: restitution of $20 to be paid by Jan. 1, 2018, no contact with person as named in the complaint; comply with all terms of Waushara County case 2017CV81, AODA and follow through, maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, court costs to include attorney fees to be paid within 60 days or payment plan, DNA sample and surcharge; for Bail Jumping-Felony and Violate/Harassment Restraining Order: impose 6 months in Waushara County Jail, stayed, 1 year probation consecutive to any sentence currently being served at time of revocation; conditions: no contact with the person named in the complaint, comply with all terms of Waushara County case 2017CV81, AODA and follow through, maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, court costs to include attorney fees to be paid within 60 days or payment plan and DNA sample and surcharge.
