Felonies reported in Waushara County
The Waushara County felonies as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:
• Jonathan E. Jani-kowski, 33, Redgranite, appeared in court on Oct. 4 for a plea/sentencing hearing for 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Battery, Disorderly Conduct and two counts Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor. He received for 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety: 66 months or 5.5 years imprisonment, bifurcated as 2.5 years or 30 months incarceration/3 years or 36 months extended supervision, imposed/stayed, sentence withheld 3 1/2 years or 42 months probation; conditions: 149 days conditional sentence equates to time served with credit for 149 days; not to be in possession of any dangerous weapons or any device that may be used as a dangerous weapon; no possession of any firearms; complete all treatment and counseling deemed appropriate by agent, including, but not limited, to a psychiatric evaluation, anger management and any counseling related to PTSD issues; the defendant must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician; complete an AODA and any follow through as recommended; no contact permitted with victim at this time until a return to court and professionals with whom the defendant is working with determine that contact is best for rehabilitation; court must be satisfied that professionals determine that contact would be appropriate and a benefit to defendant; in the event of revocation, sentence would be consecutive to any sentence existing at the time of the revocation order and warrant with extended supervision conditions identical as the terms of supervision; court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan and DNA sample (on file) and surcharge.
• Nicholas Lee Rentz, 31, Elroy, appeared in court on Oct. 5 for an initial appearance for Bail Jumping-Felony, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer and Theft-Movable Property <=$2,500. A final pretrial is scheduled for Nov. 10 and a jury trial is scheduled for Dec. 14.
• Emily McLeod, 30, Wautoma, appeared in court on Oct. 5 for a plea hearing for three counts Manufacture/Deliver Non-Narcotics, Manufacture/Deliver Sche-dule I, II Narcotics and Maintain Drug Trafficking Place. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.
