Felonies reported in Waushara County

The Waushara County felonies as recorded from the Waushara County Courthouse are as follows:

• Antonio Romeo Newman, 25, Redgranite, appeared in court on Sept. 6 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Battery by Prisoners. He received sentence withheld 1 year probation, consecutive to any existing sentence; conditions: no contact with the victim as named in the complaint, treatment and counseling as deemed appropriate by the supervising agent, obtain GED or high school equivalency degree, court costs to be paid within 60 days or payment plan, DNA sample and surcharge.

• Andrew CM Sexton, 32, New London, appeared in court on Sept. 6 for a sentencing hearing for Possess Ketamine, Possession of THC, Possess LSD and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. He received for Possess Ketamine: 75 days in Waushara County Jail, Huber privileges, no good time credit, no credit for time served to begin no later than Nov. 1, AODA and follow through, maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, court costs to be paid within 60 days or payment plan, to include attorney fees, DNA surcharge to be assessed; for Possess LSD: 9 months in Waushara County Jail, stayed, 1 year probation, concurrent to Count 1, if revoked, Huber privileges and good time credit; conditions: AODA and follow through, must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, court costs to be paid within 60 days or payment plan, to include attorney fees, DNA surcharge to be assessed.

• Percy J. Schmelzle, 22, Wautoma, appeared in court on Sept. 6 for a plea/sentencing hearing for two counts Possession of THC, Possess Drug Paraphernalia and Bail Jumping-Misde-meanor. He received sentence withheld 2 years probation; conditions: AODA and follow through, maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, no contact with co-defendants, GED or high school equivalency degree, court costs to be paid within 60 days or payment plan, bond on file to be applied, no expungement opportunity and DNA sample and surcharge.

• Adam D. Carey, 19, Appleton, appeared in court on Sept. 6 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Theft-Movable Property >$5,000-$10,000. He received sentence withheld 3 years probation; conditions: 144 days in Waushara County Jail to be served forthwith, time served credit or good time credit, pay $980 restitution in full in increments of no less than $100 per month commencing June 1, 2018, no contact with victim until requested in writing thru agent, no contact with Romeo Hammer, AODA and any follow through, defendant must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, must obtain an high school equivalency degree, court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan and DNA surcharge.

• Timothy J. Wagner, 58, Redgranite, appeared in court on Sept. 6 for a plea/sentencing hearing for Possession of THC and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. He received 45 days in Waushara County Jail, imposed/stayed, sen-tence withheld 1 year probation, may petition for early term with agent at any time after completion of 6 months; conditions: AODA and any follow through as recommended, must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan and DNA sample and surcharge.

• Vue Songsee Thao, 33, Sacramento, CA, appeared in court on Sept. 7 for a waiver of prelminiary hearing for Manufacture/Deliver Amphe-tamine. A plea hearing is scheduled for Oct. 12.

• Kevin M. Birkhofer, 26, Hancock, appeared in court on Sept. 7 for a plea/sentencing hearing for four counts Forgery-Uttering. He received for two counts Forgery-Uttering: sentence withheld 3 years probation as to each count concurrent; conditions: restitution $118 to Kwik Trip, prohibited from being in possession of any financial instrument or card in the name of another person, prohibited from being in possession of any checks or maintaining a checking account, AODA and follow through, no contact with victim unless written authorization is provided by the victim to the supervising agent, no contact with the Redgranite Kwik Trip, must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician, and court costs with 60 days to pay or payment plan.
