Joseph A. Marvin, Redgranite, was in court on Nov. 11 on three counts of Bail Jumping-Felony and a count of 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. A plea hearing is scheduled for Dec. 6.

Cullen A. O’Keefe, Wautoma, was in court on Nov. 11 on two counts of Possession of Narcotic Drugs, three counts of Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense), 12counts of Bail Jumping-Felony, two counts of Possession of Methamphetamine, and a count of Manufacture/Deliver Heroin (<3g). DE requesting the appearance by video for the plea hearing, but to be transported for the sentencing hearing due to the quarantine procedures at DCI. Based on the number of cases and the severity of the charges, the Court would like the defendant to be present in person for the plea hearing and the sentencing hearing. A plea hearing is scheduled for Nov. 17.

Kimberly Kay Jacobi, Wautoma, was in court on Nov. 14 on a count of Battery or Threat to Judge, Prosecutor, or Law Enforcement Officer. A Waiver of Prelim is scheduled for Dec. 21.

Tiffany M. Knueppel, Wild Rose, was in court on Nov. 14 on a count of Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense). A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 6.

Hosea D. Cotton, Redgranite, was in court on Nov. 14 on a count of Strangulation and Suffocation. The Court amends bond to: $3500 cash bond, all previously established non-monetary conditions remain. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 10, 2023.

Gavin A. Phillips, Redgranite, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Battery or Threat to Judge, Prosecutor, or Law Enforcement Officer, two counts of Burglary-Building or Dwelling, a count of Criminal Damage to Property (Over $2500). A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 22.

Shawn A. Wheeler, Kingston, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer, a count of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and four counts of Bail Jumping-Felony. The Court orders that defense motions be filed by no later than Nov. 29. State’s motions to be filed by no later than Dec. 13. A final pre-trial is scheduled for Dec. 22.

David A. Thompson, Wisconsin Dells, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Bail Jumping-Felony, a count of Strangulation and Suffocation, and a count of Intimidate Victim/Threaten Force, etc. The parties agree that one day is needed for the trial. 23 in box, 5 strikes. A jury trial is scheduled for March 23, 2023.

Brittney George Wargo, Wautoma, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Throw/Discharge Bodily Fluid at Public Safety Worker or Prosecutor. A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 28.

 

Crystal L. Ascher, Wild Rose, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Possession of Methamphetamine. The Court orders the cash bond to remain in effect until a bed is available for treatment. In the event that the bed is available the bond will be amended to a $2000 Signature bond with the conditions currently in place and the additional condition that the bond to revert back to a cash bond and the defendant to immediately return to the jail in the event that the defendant is no longer in treatment. Court enters Riverside Ruling in favor of the State. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled for Dec. 28.

Andrew A. Pantalons, Weyauwega, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Strangulation and Suffocation. The Court declines to modify the bond at this time. A preliminary hearing s scheduled for Dec. 5.

Justin Jadare Burage, Madison, was in court on Nov. 15 on four counts of Bail Jumping-Felony and a count of Drive or Operate Vehicle w/o Consent. Plea: Cts 1, 2, & 5 – NC. Court accepts plea and enters JOC. Cts 3, 4, & 6 – DRI. The Court orders the preparation of a PSI. The Court declines to modify the bond at this time. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2023.

John Joseph Dopp, Wild Rose, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of OWI (4th) and a count of Operating w/ PAC (4th). Defense pre-trial motions to be filed by Dec. 15. State’s motions to be filed by no later than Dec. 31. A final pre-trial is scheduled for Jan. 11, 2023.

Jane Ruby Miller, Menomonie, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Possession of Methamphetamine. A status conference is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2023.

Percy J. Schmelzle, Wautoma, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Take and Drive Vehicle w/o Consent, two counts of Bail Jumping-Felony and a count of Possession of Methamphetamine. A plea/sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2023.

Richard S. Groholski, Waupaca, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Possession of Methamphetamine. A status conference is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2023.

Armando R. Martinez, Redgranite, was in court on Nov. 15 on a count of Battery by Prisoners. A status conference is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2023.

 

Dylan James Bortz, Wisconsin Rapids, was in court on Nov. 15 on nine counts of Burglary-Building or Dwelling and a count of Attempt Burglary-Building or Dwelling. Court orders: As to Counts 1, 2, & 5: 102 months term of imprisonment - bifurcated sentence - 42 months IC/60 months ES, concurrent with one another. DE is eligible for the Challenge Incarceration Program and the Substance Abuse Program. 831 days CFTS. Defendant is not eligible for release to supervision until having severed no less than 39 months of IC. ES Conditions: No contact with any of the complainants or co-defendants directly or indirectly. No phone calls, e-mails, text messages, written communications or by third party. Restitution, joint and several, reimposed the extent not previously paid. Defendant to undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment and comply with any further counseling and/or treatment as deemed appropriate by the supervising agent. The defendant must maintain absolute sobriety, may not be present upon the premises of any bars, and is prohibited from possessing/ingesting any impairing substances that have not been prescribed by a physician. Appeal rights given.
