Wautoma Library’s upcoming July events

It’s a sizzling summer at the Wautoma Public Library with special events like the 7th Annual Taste of Wautoma, Lite Summer Meals Cooking Class, and Critterrrman along with the library’s growing collection of books, movies, and more.

The biggest of all the library’s July events is the 7th Annual Taste of Wautoma.  This delicious and fun filled evening will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the World War II Memorial Building, downtown Wautoma. Tickets are available now at the Wautoma Public Library, Wautoma City Hall, or at the door on the day of the event.

Ticket holders will be treated to an evening of ‘tastes’, each restaurant offering samples of their finest fare for your culinary enjoyment. The silent auction also brings excitement to the evening as does the highly social atmosphere.

The list of participating businesses this year is impressive, including: El Popo Tienda Mexicana, Moose Inn, Stoneridge Piggly Wiggly, Heath Farm Market, Dairy Queen, Pump House on the Mill, Fresh For Life Organics, Hideaway Bar & Grill, Mt. Morris Mill & Coffee Shop, Living Stone Bistro, McDonald’s.

Please consider joining the event as all proceeds go towards the reduction of the 2009 library remodel debt, which is approximately $289,658.
