Area students receive Bryant Foundation Scholarships
The Edwin and Janet L. Bryant Foundation, Stoughton, recently announced the latest recipients of its scholarship program.
The local students selected as recipients of the scholarship include: Garret Hinz, Wautoma High School; Brandon Jarvis, Wautoma High School; Ciara Neeb, Montello Junior/Senior High School; Alyssa Overbeck, Wautoma High School; and Jon Piechowski, Wautoma High School.
The Bryant Foun-dation scholarship was created to assist former students of Stoughton High School and the high schools of all the Wisconsin communities where Nelson Industires, Inc. had manufacturing plant locations. In addition to Stoughton, those communtiies include: Neillsville, Black River Falls, Mineral Point, Viroqua, Bloomer, Wautoma, Arcadia, Muscoda, and Montello.
Recipients attending a two-year college or vocational/technical school will receive up to $2,000 annually for part-time enrollment or up to $4,000 annually for full-time enrollment. The recipients attending a four-year college or university will receive up to $6,000 annually for part-time enrollment or up to $12,000 annually for full-time enrollment.
