Wild Rose Historical Society discusses tour preparations

The Wild Rose Historical Society met May 27 to help finalize preparations for the summer activities, including the museum tour season.

Tri-County 3rd graders toured the museum on May 29, with the Wild Rose 4th graders touring June 1. The museum grounds have been receiving sprucing up for the students and the summer tours, which will begin June 17, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Several buildings have articles about former residents and will be able to be viewed by the public.

The group’s summer picnic will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 at Roberts Park.

Volunteers to guide the tours at the museum are needed for June 27, as the regular guides will be attending the Over 50 Club Reunion.
