Additional Flu Clinics to be offered

Two additional Flu Clinics will be held at the Waushara County Health Department, located at 230 West Park Street, Wautoma.

Appointments will be available on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and Friday, Nov. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The flu season is unpredictable, and the holidays are quickly approaching. Now is the perfect time to get vaccinated. After receiving the flu vaccine, it typically takes about two weeks for protection to set in. A flu shot will provide you and your loved ones the best protection from getting sick with the flu.

Medicare Part B and Medicaid pay for the flu shots.  Bring all the insurance cards you take to your physician’s office with you.  For all other people desiring the flu shot there is a cost.
