Area freshman students receive scholarships from UW-Eau Claire

Five hundred eighty-two incoming freshmen received scholarships from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the 2021-22 academic year, with many students receiving multiple awards.

The following area students earned scholarships:

Brianna Leibsle, Plainfield, Chancellors Academic Excellence Scholarship and Freshman Honors Scholarship, Tri-County High School.

Torrance Marquez, Wild Rose, Diversity Incentive New Student Award, Wild Rose High School.
