Almond American Legion hosts Almond Community Memorial Day Ceremony

The Almond American Legion hosted the Almond Community Memorial Day Ceremony on May 31. The Golden Needle Quilt Guild awarded six Quilts of Valor to local veterans: Jim Callahan, Tom Clendenning, Carl Cummings, Jim Morgan and Jack Sherman. They will also be awarding Quilts of Valor to Mike Footit, Randy Stutesman, John Timmerman, Brian Studinski and Robert Scovill who were unable to attend the Ceremony.
