Waushara County accidents

5/16/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 5:10 p.m. on STH22 northbound in the Town of Rose. Jason Stankowski, 54, Waupaca, slowed for a deer crossing the roadway. Brock Keil, 19, did not see Stankowski slowing for the deer and ran into the rear of Stankowski, causing minor damage. 5/18/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 1:32 p.m. on IH39 northbound in the Town of Plainfield. Gerald Edgren, 88, Plainfield, performed an illegal u-turn in the crossover between the southbound and northbound lanes, then continued northbound in lane 1, and slowly merged into lane 2 northbound striking Charles Funk, 33, Columbus, OH, trailer tire. Both units were drivable and continued on to a nearby gas station. Deer accidents: 5/10/2023: At 2:10 a.m., Christina Peterson, 32, Wautoma, on STH21, Westbound, Town of Marion. 5/12/2023: At 7:23 p.m., Gary Prellwitz, 39, Berlin, on Dakota Ave, Town of Aurora.
