Waushara County accident report
The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office:
1/3/18: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:39 a.m. on Czech Drive, Town of Coloma. Gary Dehling, 63, Coloma, was making a right turn onto Czech Drive as Kevin Adams, 27, Coloma, was traveling westbound on Czech Drive coming up the hill. Dehling made the turn onto the narrow road after checking for traffic. He was unable to see Adams coming up the hill and turned onto Czech Drive. The snowplow hit Adams’ driver’s side door. No injuries were reported.
•1/5/18: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:15 p.m. on County Road W, Town of Mt. Morris. Justin Dennis Zellmer, 16, Neenah, was negotiating a curve on County Road W near 24th Drive when he drove on the shoulder and went off the roadway. Zellmer’s vehicle struck a ditch/driveway then went airborne about 30 feet striking several wooden posts belong to the North Fond du Lac Archery Club and then a power pole causing severe damage to the vehicle. Zellmer and his passenger was transported away from the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival. Two citations were issued. Suspected minor injuries were reported.
• 1/6/18: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:35 a.m. on County Road EE, Town of Warren. Shaun M. Hrnak, 36, Wautoma, was negotiating a curve when he stated he was looking at his cellphone. Hrnak missed the corner and went off the roadway into the trees. One citation was issued. No injuries were reported.
• 1/7/18: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:16 a.m. on 3rd Avenue, Town of Coloma. Lori A. Grimmenga, 56, Wautoma, was traveling north on 3rd Avenue coming into a left curve in which the road was snow-covered. Grimmenga lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, striking a tree and coming to a rest against the tree. Suspected minor injuries were reported.
• 1/7/18: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:40 a.m. on County Road JJ. Town of Dakota. Jesse Montano, 26, Colorado Springs, CO, was traveling westbound on County Road JJ west of 14th Avenue going too fast and couldn’t negotiate the corner, striking a rock. No injuries were reported.
