Waushara County accident report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:
• 4/22/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:50 a.m. on N. Main St., Village of Hancock. Chase A. Burns, 25, Plainfield, was traveling northbound on N. Main Street when it was reported he was driving at a high rate of speed. Burns exited the roadway and struck a mailbox, fell from his motorcycle and was found unresponsive on the right side of the road. Four citations were issued. Suspected serious injuries were reported.
• 4/22/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:20 a.m. on 11th Drive, Town of Richford. James Metzger, 52, Westfield, was found at a residence in the early morning hours looking for a ride home. His vehicle was found off a nearby road in some swampy land. Four citations were issued. Suspected minor injuries were reported.
• 4/22/17: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:47 p.m. on State Road 21, Town of Dakota. Jennifer Weiss, 40, Wautoma, was traveling east on State Road 21/73 when she came to an abrupt stop due to a vehicle stopping to pull into Lakeshore Restaurant. Jeffery Doro, 22, Berlin, was traveling east and struck Weiss’s vehicle in the left rear as she came to an abrupt stop. Doro then overturned and the operator was ejected off the motorcycle. Two citations were issued. No injuries were reported.
• 4/28/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:14 p.m. on County Road Q, Town of Leon. Collin Wiitanen, 17, Wautoma, was traveling eastbound on County Road Q when it appeared he was going to fast into a left hand corner and after the corner he went into the gravel on right shoulder. Wiitanen exited the roadway, over corrected and then exited the roadway again striking some trees and coming to a rest. One citation was issued. No injuries were reported.
