Waushara County accident report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:

10/1/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:33 a.m. on Highway 22, Town of Rose. Robert Grawvunder, 58, Waupaca, was traveling southbound on Highway 22 driving a semi tractor and trailer when he saw a black cow on the highway during the hours of complete darkness. Grawvunder struck the cow. No injuries were reported. 

•11/4/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Highway 21, City of Wautoma. Isaac Martinez, 34, Wautoma, was stopped in traffic waiting at a red light when Cody Schwersenska, 21, Hancock, stated he was not paying attention and struck the rear or Martinez’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

•11/11/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:21 a.m. on County Road TT, Town of Saxeville. Joseph Abhold, 31, Wild Rose, was traveling westbound on Country Road TT when he swerved to miss a deer crossing the roadway. Abhold entered the south ditch and crossed a driveway coming to a rest against a tree in the south ditch. No injuries were reported.

•11/13/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:42 a.m. on 29th Road, Town of Leon. Katelyn Quimby, 18, Redgranite, was traveling southbound on 29th road exiting a curve to the right when she overcorrected, entered the west ditch, over corrected to the left, and skidded out of control across both lanes of travel. She then entered the east ditch and hit a tree on the passenger side. Quimby was extricated from the vehicle and med-flighted to ThedaClark Hospital. Incapacitating injuries were reported. One citation was issued.
