Waushara County Accident Report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:

•10/2/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:06 p.m. on Highway 21, City of Wautoma. Alisha Haase, 32, New London, was stopped facing north on S. Cambridge Street waiting to turn east on W. Main Street. Elijah Wenzel, 18, Wautoma, was traveling north on S. Cambridge Street and ran into the rear of Haase’s vehicle. Wenzel stated that he didn’t even know if the vehicle in front of him was stopped or moving. No injuries were reported. 

•10/3/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:18 a.m. on E. Division St., City of Wautoma. Nathan Albright, 20, Montello, was traveling westbound on E. Division Street traveling at an estimated speed of 35 mph to 40 mph in a posted 25 mph. Albright failed to negotiate the curve and went over the curb and into a large shed. The vehicle crashed through the shed and ignited. The driver refused medical treatment but complained of left hand pain and back pain. Possible injuries were reported. Two citations were issued. 

•10/6/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:54 a.m. on E. Division Street, City of Wautoma. Ljubica Laskarin, 58, Morton Grove, IL, was stopped and attempted to go around a broken down car when Jack Eagan, 18, Wautoma, ran into her. Eagan said he saw the light change to green and looked down and ran into the back of Laskarin. No injuries were reported. One citation was issued. 

•10/14/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 8:00 a.m. on W. Cummings Road, City of Wautoma. Mary Lu Slowey, 90, Wautoma, on Cummings Road exiting a parking lot and ran directly into the side of Jessica Jaeger, 32, Neshkoro. No injuries were reported. 

•10/14/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:35 a.m. on W. Main Street, City of Wautoma. Larry Boelke, 57, Oshkosh, was in an outside lane on Highway 21/73 and passed David Kennedy, 30, Pickett, to make a right turn. Kennedy looked and saw Boelke was not stopping and tried to get out of the way but was run into. Kennedy said Boelke passed him and went to make a left turn and was unable to stop and ran into the back of the trailer. The trailer that Kennedy was pulling came off and stayed with Boelke’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

•10/17/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:07 a.m. on E. Chicago Road, City of Wautoma. Walter Senkbeil, 86, Wautoma, was traveling south on Fair Street when he blacked out. Senkbeil crossed through a yard hitting a utility pole and crossed over Chicago Road. Senkbeil then crashed into a legally parked semi trailer. Possible injuries were reported.
