Waushara County Accident Report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:

9/30/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:06 p.m. on Highway 21, Village of Coloma. Jacqueline Roamine, 75, Hancock, was traveling northbound from North Slater across County Road FF within the Village of Coloma when she was struck by David May, 22, Westfield, traveling westbound on Highway 21. Roamine struck a chain fence belonging to Westfield Area School District immediately after the collision. Romaine was transported to St. Michaels Hospital due to her injuries while May and his passenger refused medical services. Non-incapacitating injuries were reported. Two citations were issued. 

•10/1/15: A three-vehicle accident occurred at 8:20 p.m. on Highway 73, Town of Plainfield. Lucas Kumm, 35, Plainfield, was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed the center line while reaching in his pocket for his phone striking Nancy Fara, 65, Wisconsin Rapids, in the rear of her vehicle and hitting Kenneth Fischer, 36, West Allis, head on. Fara and Fischer were both traveling northbound. Possible injuries were reported. Three citations were issued.

•10/1/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Highway 152, Town of Mt. Morris. A detective was sent to a report of a car in a ditch. When the detective arrived no one was around. The car went off the roadway and struck trees. The detective spoke with the registered owner, Michael Richards, 36, Redgranite, approximately nine hours later. Richards stated he was not drinking but swerved to miss a deer and did not contact law enforcement because he did not have a phone. No injuries were reported. Two citations were issued.
