Waushara County Accident Report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:

9/24/15: A one-vehicle occurred at 3 p.m. on County Road C, Town of Deerfield. Thomas Bengel, 72, Wautoma, was traveling westbound on County Road C and failed to properly negotiate a curve. Bengel left the roadway and struck numerous trees on the north side ditch. Non-incapacitating injuries were reported.

•9/26/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:16 a.m. on County Road Q, Town of Leon. James Quimby, 45, Redgranite, was traveling eastbound on County Road Q when a horse was seen in the roadway. Quimby was unable to stop prior to striking the horse. No injuries were reported.

•9/26/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:45 a.m. on Highway 73, Town of Marion. Joshua Fairchild, 31, Neshkoro, was traveling southbound on Highway 73 when the driver stated that the vehicle had a front end or steering problem. Fairchild’s vehicle entered the ditch, struck an unknown object, and reentered the roadway. The driver drove to his residence and then reported the crash. No injuries were reported. Two citations were issued. 

•9/26/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:04 a.m. on County Road V, Town of Coloma. Rodolfo Ayvar, 18, Green Bay, was traveling southbound on County Road V when he operated onto the west shoulder, over corrected to the left, over corrected to the right, and entered the west ditch striking a tree. Ayvar stated he swerved to miss a deer, over corrected to the left, and brought it back thinking he could save it, but hit a tree. Non-incapacitating injuries were reported. Two citations were issued.
