Waushara County accident report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office are as follows:

•7/28/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:13 a.m. on County Road W, Town of Saxeville. Charles William Fisher, 28, Wild Rose, was traveling northbound on County Road W when he entered the 25 mph zone in excess of the posted limit. Fisher failed to negotiate the curve and struck several trees. He pulled himself from the vehicle with extensive injuries and was located sitting in the middle of County Road W. Fisher was air lifted by Theda Star to Theda Clark Medical Center. Incapacitating injuries were reported. Four citations were issued. 

•7/29/15: A one-vehicle hit and run accident occurred at 12:29 a.m. on Highway 21, Town of Wautoma. The vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 21 made a U turn through the paved median. The vehicle was spinning its tires leaving black marks and loosing control going over the curb and struck a one way sign post breaking it off in multiple sections. There was no vehicle parts left and it is believed the vehicle would have driver’s side damage. 

•7/29/15: A one-vehicle hit and run accident occurred at 1 a.m. on 17th Drive, Town of Dakota. The vehicle traveling northbound exited the roadway after negotiating a curve. The driver drove through the ditch striking a fire number post and an Adams-Columbia power box. The driver then drove through the ditch and a yard.

•7/29/15: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9 a.m. on Highway 22, Town of Wautoma. Paxton Butzin, 33, Wild Rose, was slowing for a non-contact vehicle that had stopped in the roadway for ducks that were in the road. Butzin struck Ryan Topping, 31, Wautoma, in the rear end of a trailer being towed. Butzin then struck a mailbox and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported.

•8/1/15: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:24 p.m. on Highway 21, Town of Richford. Phillip Meyers, 51, Alpena, was traveling westbound on Highway 21 with his passenger riding behind him on his motorcycle. A deer ran into the roadway and struck the front portion of the motorcycle and eventually struck the passenger on her left leg causing her to be injured. Non-incapacitating injuries were reported.
