On Sept. 30 at 2:31 a.m., the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle accident involving a potato truck and a mini van. The accident happened on County Road P near the intersection of County Road J in the Township of Oasis. The driver of the mini van, Susan A. Guist, was pronounced deceased and neither vehicle had passengers.
The accident is currently under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Responding departments called to assist included: Waushara County EMS, Plainfield Fire Department, Almond Fire Department, and Wild Rose Fire Department.
