12/9/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:02 p.m. on CTHA westbound in the Town of Springwater. Cheyenne Radley, 29, Hortonville, lost control negotiating downhill curve on snow/slush/ice covered roadway, crossed centerline, over-corrected to the right, and impacted guardrail face with right-front corner of the vehicle, spun, and impacted guardrail face with left-rear corner of the vehicle, then slid out of control across the centerline and eastbound lane of travel over the bridge, and came to rest in the south ditch facing northwest.
12/9/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:15 p.m. on West St. in the Village of Plainfield. Allie Booth, 18, Hancock, was turning south onto N. West Street when it slid on the icy/snowy road and made contact with Beatriz Rico, 30, Plainfield. No injuries reported.
12/10/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:38 p.m. on 15th Rd. in the Town of Rose. Chad Comers, 48, New London, was traveling at a speed that did not allow him to negotiate the right hand curve in the roadway. Comers traveled left of center across the southbound lane, and into the ditch on the west side of the roadway. Comers left the scene and later called and reported his vehicle as a slide in and asked to leave it until Wednesday until the road conditions improved. Upon arrival at the scene it was found to actually be a reportable crash.
12/11/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:15 p.m. on STH22 northbound in the Town of Dakota. Kaitlyn Boehm, 20, Westfield, was negotiating a left curve. Roads were ice, snow, and slush covered. Boehm lost control and crossed the center line and into the southbound ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its driver side. Boehm was stuck and assisted out of the vehicle.
12/12/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:35 p.m. on CTHC westbound in the Town of Wautoma. Elijah Allord, 22, Stevens Point, began to lose traction on the snow/ice covered roadway while negotiating a right curve. Allord regained traction, but overcorrected, causing the vehicle to spin approximately 180 degrees and enter the westbound ditch. The vehicle came to rest with the rear side against a tree.
12/15/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:10 a.m. on an intersection in the Town of Rose. Debra Johnson, 56, Wisconsin Rapids, failed to stop at the stop sign at State Road 22 going through the intersection striking the eastside embankment. Two stop ahead signs were in place and weather conditions were foggy.
12/15/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:41 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Dakota. Curtis Rens, 75, Wautoma, was pulling out of a business driveway and planning to turn on STH21. Jennifer Kruger, 49, Berlin, was traveling eastbound in the inside lane closest to the left turn lane at 45 MPH per her statement. Rens looked to the left and did not see Kruger until it was to late and they collided in the left eastbound lane and both came to rest in the continuous left turn lane.
12/16/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:30 p.m. on STH49 northbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Diego Trevino, 21, Sherwood, approached a left curve and entered the northbound shoulder. Trevino over corrected and left his lane of travel and entered the southbound lane. He then left the southbound lane and entered the southbound ditch. Trevino struck a field entrance embankment and became airborne. The vehicle rotated 180 degrees, struck a tree, and came to rest on its roof. During the crash, Trevino’s arm left the vehicle through the sun roof and became stuck when the vehicle landed. He stated he was traveling too fast for the curve and that he thought he was going approximately 70 MPH. No insurance and STH49 sign was also damaged.
