Accidents reported in Waushara County

10/22/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2 a.m. on 633 N. 2nd Ave. in the Village of Lohrville. Deputy dispatched to suspicious vehicle that was crashed in someone’s front yard. Joshua Janczak, 41, Redgranite, stated he did not have insurance. Property owner stated that the driver was trying to tear up the yard. Complainant stated that he had heard someone speeding through the 25 MPH zone. After investigation, the above driver was found to be impaired and arrested. Janczak was unable to explain how the crash occurred.

10/23/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:56 a.m. on 30th Dr. in the Town of Warren. Andrew Engel, 20, Pine River, stated he swerved to miss hitting a deer and was unfamiliar with this road. Engel veered off the road into the right ditch and side swiped a tree.

10/22/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:05 a.m. on CTHC Westbound in the Town of Hancock. Patrick Leibsle, 19, Coloma, in a straight truck with trailer in tow northbound on Country Road V, made a left turn onto County Road C. Cargo/load on trailer Vermeer crawler shifted to right, and trailer overturned onto right side. Damage to hitch on Leibsle’s truck. Damage to trailer and damage to crawler. Trailer removed by owner, equipment up-righted by areawide towing and later removed by owner.

10/13/2021: At 6:52 p.m., Ronald Selenske, 76, Coloma, on CTHV, Southbound, Town of Coloma.

10/13/2021: At 8:44 p.m., Cade Milton, 18, Green Bay, on STH21, Eastbound, Town of Richford.

10/21/2021: At 6:44 p.m., Sara Loritz, 28, Plainfield, on STH22, Southbound, Town of Springwater.

10/22/2021: At 7:48 a.m., Angela Hogan, 39, Wild Rose, on STH49, Northbound, Town of Bloomfield.
