Accidents reported in Waushara County

6/6/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:34 p.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Deerfield. Alexis Godbee, 21, Redgranite, was backing out of a parking space next to unit two when it proceeded to strike the back driver side bumper of unit two which was unoccupied and parked. Unit two sustained damage to the back bumper and quarter panel. Godbee sustained damage to the back passenger bumper, back passenger quarter panel, back passenger side door, and minor damage to the front passenger door. Godbee then proceeded to speed off rapidly through the parking lot and left the scene without calling in. She was located and identified at a later time.

6/8/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred in a parking lot in the Village of Redgranite. Jack Cronce, 86, Redgranite, was exiting the gas station parking lot from the southeastern driveway. To access, he drives between a pickup truck and trailer. Eric Fuller, 54, was starting to back up without flashers and noticed Cronce in his mirrors. He was not able to stop in time and struck Cronce, leaving long deep scrapes and denting from rear passenger door to the end of the truck. A verbal argument between the two occurred at some point. Officer was informed that Cronce had been watching individuals load cases of beer in to the pickup/trailer parked near Fuller.

6/12/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. on CTHCC eastbound in the Town of Coloma. Michael Herbst, 71, Adams, was driving 45 MPH and drove his motorcycle into the ditch. There were no know obstructions in the roadway and he did not know what happened. He was not licensed to drive a motorcycle and he stated that he has been riding motorcycles for 10-15 years. He was wearing glasses, but no helmet. Other people riding with him stated they were not sure what happened as they were in front of him.

6/13/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:42 p.m. on 21st Ct. in the Town of Marion. Lawrence Malson, 68, Neshkoro, was traveling on a motorcycle. Jennifer Zielinski, 42, Neshkoro was northbound and Malson was southbound on 21st Ct., a gravel road, and not a full two lanes. Both were negotiating the curve. Malson attempted to get over and lost control, tipping the motorcycle over. No contact was ever made with Zielinski. Malson’s motorcycle was uprighted and was taken to home by Fire Dept. members.

6/4/2021: At 11:44 p.m., Candis Smith, 61, Hancock, on STH22, Southbound, Town of Rose.

6/11/2021: At 8:48 p.m., William Dorman, 26, Appleton, on STH21, Westbound, Town of Aurora.

6/13/2021: At 5:18 a.m., Tyler Blacketer, 19, Berlin, on STH49, Northbound, Town of Aurora.
