Accidents reported in Waushara County

4/13/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:41 a.m. on CTHEE eastbound in the Town of Leon. Deputy responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident. Upon arrival the vehicle had heavy damage done due to the accident. It appeared to be fresh tire marks on the eastbound ditch area that come back onto the roadway, travel left of center with yaw marks visible, travel into the westbound ditch and strike multiple trees before coming to rest, almost facing the complete opposite direction of original travel. Jennifer Wilcox, 52, Pine River, estimated her speed to be 45 MPH. She stated she was coming from home and going to a meeting. She admitted to going into the gravel and over corrected. Wilcox had small lacerations to her hands and was bleeding. She stated her hips were hurting. She also stated she takes medication for migraines. She denied wanting an ambulance. Wilcox was picked up from the accident scene by her husband. Citations for failure to keep vehicle under control and too fast for condition was mailed to defendant.
