Accidents reported in Waushara County

6/25/2023: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:08 p.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Plainfield. Kelly Richardson, 48, Fitchburg, lost control on wet road, went off roadway and overturned. 6/28/2023: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:52 p.m. on an intersection in the Town of Leon. Precious Weaver, 22, Wautoma, approached Matthew Wroblewski, 28, Plover, who was stopped at stop sign. Weaver stopped, then let off the brake striking Wroblewski. Weaver stated she anticipated Wroblewski going forward. Wroblewski stated he was about to turn onto County Road H, thought he saw oncoming traffic, and remained at stop sign. 7/1/2023: A two-vehicle accident was reported on 1:40 p.m. at an intersection in the Town of Hancock. Barbara Przybylski, 81, Hancock, and Christine Kuffel Miller, 65, Hancock, were at the Waushara County Landfill site near Hancock. Przybylski was moving over to unload waste from vehicle at a dumpster site and struck Miller from behind. 7/2/2023: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 11:10 a.m. on private property in the Town of Wautoma. Pamela Peck, 67, Wautoma, was slowing to park vehicle and unintentionally accelerated striking pedestrian and building. Deer accidents 7/1/2023: At 6:40 a.m., Nathan Nelson, 48, Streamwood, IL, on IH39, Northbound, Town of Coloma.
