Accidents reported in Waushara County

5/20/2023: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 9:17 a.m. on CTHA westbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Tara Niemuth, 38, Weyauwega, was westbound and Gerald Kirwan, 42, Wild Rose, pulled out from a driveway to go east. Kirwan pulled out in front of Niemuth, causing the front of Niemuth’s vehicle to make contact with the driver’s side of Kirwan. 5/20/2023: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 11:25 p.m. on CTHP eastbound in the Town of Rose. Anthony Much, 20, Waupaca, believed he fell asleep at the wheel. Much went left of center, entered the westbound ditch and struck a driveway embankment. Much vaulted off the driveway and struck the westbound ditch before coming to rest of its’ passenger side. 5/23/2023: A one-vehicle accident was reported at 4:45 a.m. on Badger Dr in the Town of Poy Sippi. Jennifer Rew, 45, Poy Sippi, swerved to miss racoon in the roadway and left road to the right and entered the ditch causing functional damage. 5/24/2023: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:34 p.m. on STH152 westbound in the Town of Mount Morris. A concrete rake that was on Payton Magdanz, 24, Pine River, blew out of its’ holder and made contact with the windshield of Debra Reschlein, 68, Wautoma. Reschlein complained of possible glass in eyes, and left shoulder pain. She was transported to hospital by private vehicle. Deer accidents: 5/14/2023: At 1:18 a.m., Kari Denny, 36, Appleton, on CHTC, Eastbound, Town of Hancock. 5/17/2023: At 8:40 p.m., Jeremy Krueger, 46, Wautoma, on STH22, Northbound, Town of Dakota. 5/20/2023: At 12:34 p.m., Sabrina Douglas, 36, Wautoma, on STH73, Northbound, Town of Marion. 5/22/2023: At 7 a.m., Betty Eilers, 75, Wild Rose, on IH39, Southbound, Town of Coloma. 5/24/2023: At 11:19 a.m., Sarah Welk, 26, Wautoma, on STH22, Northbound, Town of Dakota. 5/26/2023: At 7:21 p.m., Darren Hanusa, 49, Oshkosh, on CTHSS, Northbound, Town of Poy Sippi.
