Accidents recorded in Waushara County

•9/15/19: A two-vehicle accident was recorded in Waushara County at 3 p.m. on the intersection of CTH V, Town of Hancock. Timothy August Weisensel, 23, Wautoma, entered the intersection from the stop sign, striking the vehicle operated by Joseph Alan Hazard, 42, Waukesha. One possible injury was reported.

 

•9/17/19: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:50 a.m. on the intersection of STH 21 westbound, Village of Lohrville. Theodore A. Peterson, 76, Scottsdale, AZ, stopped for an unknown vehicle that was making a left turn from State Road 21 south onto 3rd Ave. Peterson slowed to approximately 10mph and came to stop. Hunter Douglas Hurley, 17, Redgranite, was looking to the south and collided with Peterson. Hurley was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

 

•9/18/19: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:50 a.m. on CTH E southbound, Town of Saxeville. Joshua Phillip Anderson, 40, Redgranite, crossed the centerline, entered the east ditch, and collided with a tree. Anderson said he fell asleep and was going home from work. He stated his driver’s license was suspended.

•9/19/19: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:03 a.m. on CTH HH/ CTH I westbound, Town of Bloomfield. Zachary David Fields, 19, New London, failed to negotiate a curve, and crossed the centerline and eastbound lane of travel. He skidded out of control on the wet grass, collided with small trees, and began to overturn and impacted a pine tree before coming to rest of the passenger side.

 

•9/19/19: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:40 p.m. on 19th Road, Town of Marion. Rhonda Jean Krueger, 53, Neshkoro, entered the east ditch and became stuck in wet mud. She collided with brush and small trees on the passenger side. Krueger stated she swerved to miss a deer and knows the ditch is steep, so she tried to stay as straight as she could and did avoid the deer.

•9/27/19: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2 a.m. on Aniwa Road, Town of Oasis. Bradley A. Vinnedge, 29, Oklahoma City, OK, was driving eastbound on Aniwa Road, went off the roadway to the left, down an embankment, and struck some trees. Vinnedge left the scene. The vehicle was found in the ditch and reported by a third party. No injuries were reported, when the driver was found.

•9/19/19: 7:57 a.m., W1736 CTH H eastbound, Town of Poy Sippi. Dennis Edward Jakubowski, 73, Brookfield.
