8/5/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:24 a.m. on CTHW westbound in the Town of Leon. Jason Howell, 46, Rothschild, was involved in a vehicle pursuit. Howell fled law enforcement at speeds of over 100 MPH. Stop sticks were used and deflated both driver side tires. Howell continued on rims for over nine miles until losing control, entered a ditch, entered road, entered ditch and struck a small tree. Vehicle was disabled and damaged due to flying debris/tires/rims and from striking the ditch.
No contact was made with any police or sheriff squads.
