Penguin fans were at the edge of their seats during the Jan. 11 conference matchup against the Rosholt Hornets at Tri-County High School. It was a close fight to the finish, with the Penguins edging out the Hornets, 66-63.
Sam Raboin topped the scoreboard with 15 points, including 3 of 6 free throws.
Gage Beggs followed closely with 14 points of his own, including 8 of 11 free throws.
RJ Meddaugh put up 11 points, including 2 of 4 free throws.
Luis Garcia and Jairo Monroy each had 9 points, Isaac Miller 6 points, and Luke Rasmussen 2 points.
The Penguins advance to 3-9 overall this season and 1-5 in the Central Wisconsin Conference. Tri-County will be hosting the Pittsville Panthers on Friday, Jan. 19.
