Ryker Withall named Redgranite Elementary Student of the Month

Subhead

Third grader Ryker Withall was recently named the Redgranite Elementary School Student of the Month. The following statement was given by Mrs. Petersen, third grade staff, with his nomination.

“It can often be difficult to find a student who demonstrates the character trait cooperation each and every day, but this year I have found a needle in a haystack. The student I am about to nominate can always be counted on to lead by example. When given the opportunity to work with classmates, he is a team player and his classmates can trust him to help out when they need it. He uses a kind tone to speak to his peers and he roots others on and encourages them to reach their full potential.

His cooperative attitude and interest in learning has been a positive influence on the whole class. He has a passion for learning and he participates in class and puts forth his best effort in all areas because he understands that effort equals progress. He wants to be his best self, day in and day out. He truly values his education. He is definitely a role model for all students in this building.

He also cooperates with the adults in our building. He is respectful to adults and he always speaks to them in a kind tone and is extremely caring and thoughtful. He can be counted on to follow school rules in the classroom, in the hallways and outside.

It is with great pleasure that I nominate Ryker Withall as Redgranite’s Student of the Month.”
