Tri-County School District’s Artist of the Week

Student: Jairo Monroy

Jairo Monroy is a junior at Tri-County in 2D Art, section 3, with his art teacher Jen Montgomery.  Jairo’s assignment was to create a series piece.  Jairo chose to do an acrylic painting inspired by his favorite basketball team, the Phoenix Suns.  Each acrylic painted canvas board measures 9” x 12”.  Jairo is always a hardworking student in art class.  He is creative, unique and puts great effort into his work.
