Richard John Lazinski (Rockin' Richie), of Milwaukee and Waushara County, age 71, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 4, 2024.
He was survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary, his son Michael Lazinski, his daughter Samantha Giel (Chris), his granddaughter Lola Lazinski and best buddy Keelan. He is further survived by sister Sue Peissig (Jerry), brother Robert Lazinski (Diane), nieces, nephews and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by parents Robert and Dolores Lazinski.
Music was a huge part of his life! He learned to play the drums at age 9 and played in many bands throughout his lifetime, including his joy of jamming with his pal Tim. Rockin' Richie was the local DJ in Waushara County playing at weddings and celebrations for over 35 years. He will be remembered for keeping the party going and the crowds dancing on their feet, never letting the music stop. His love of the Beatles and oldies music kept a smile on his face which had him dancing at any given time a good tune came on the radio. Richard was also a huge motorcycle enthusiast, keeping a bike until the end even though he could no longer ride it. No funeral services will be held but a celebration of life will happen sometime this summer. Don't ever stop dancing Rockin' Richie, as we will come to the party above someday, too. You will never be forgotten and genuinely missed. We love you!
