Kathy M. Klemann

Kathy M. Klemann, age 62, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully Tuesday, afternoon, January 9, 2024 at Heartland House in Wautoma, after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.
She was born June 5, 1961 in Berlin the daughter of John and Judy (Peck) Eldred. She married Jay Klemann on September 6, 1986 in Grace Lutheran Church, Berlin. Kathy was a graduate of Berlin High School. She was employed at Central Federal Savings and Loan in Ripon, later for Bickford-Kubasta-Lorensen Law Offices and lastly for Waushara County District Attorney’s Office as a Crime Victim-Witness Coordinator until her retirement. She was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma. She also enjoyed golfing, playing cards, board games and gardening. She loved her family and always enjoyed watching her daughter’s sporting events and school functions and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Klemann, Wautoma; her loving daughters, Rachel (Steve) Merema, Beth (Gabriel) Garneata and Brooke (Jay) Kelley; her grandchildren, Gwen and Nora Merema, Abner and Elle Garneata; her sisters, Cindy (Mark) Hillesheim and Peggy Eserkaln; sister-in-law, Julie (Tom) Ridgeman sister-in-law, Jill Klemann; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday January 15, 2024 and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Kathy’s name.
