Donna M. Semrow, age 75, of Coloma passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Heartland House in Wautoma.
She was born September 13, 1948 in Adams, WI the daughter of Clifford Bloss and Flossie (Preston). She married Terry Clarence Semrow on April 20, 1968. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1993. Donna was a 1966 graduate of Adams/Friendship High School. She worked as a secretary at the former M&I Bank in Coloma. She and her late husband founded Semrow Trucking & Excavating in Coloma. Later, together with friends, they built the former Sundance Saloon in Coloma. Donna was employed as a scale operator at Kraemer Company’s Pockrandt Quarry in Westfield until her retirement. There were few things Donna loved more than the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, bingo, vacationing in Jamaica and going to the races in Daytona. Most of all, she loved being with and bragging about her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Donna was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the former Coloma Fire Belles.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula Montgomery (Jason), Roseville, MN and Jessica (Cory) Bielmeier, Wautoma; four grandchildren, Amelia and William Montgomery, Connor and Kendall Bielmeier; four sisters: Karen Christensen, Westfield, Beverly Warner (Stan), Omro, Linda Bloss & Vera, Grand Marsh, Teresa Ott, Grand Marsh; four brothers: Harlan Bloss (Virginia), Grand Marsh, Dale (Cindy) Bloss, Horse Shoe Bend, Arkansas, David Bloss, Oxford and Dennis Bloss (Karen), Grand Marsh; three brothers-in-law: Tom Semrow, Wautoma, Dan (Ann) Semrow, Cottage Grove and Mike (Sarah) Semrow, Hancock; sister-in-law, Deb (Randy) Kazmer, Hartwell, Georgia; her special friend and companion, John Porpora, Coloma. Donna is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, godchildren and many dear friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother and father; her parents-in-law: Clarence and Mavis Semrow; one brother, Richard Bloss; one sister, Cheryl Bloss; brothers-in-law: Frank Schaetzka, Frank Warner, Clarence Ott, Ted Semrow and David Semrow; one sister-in-law, Kathy Semrow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. with Deacon Pam Werth officiating. Interment at Prince of Peace Lutheran Coloma will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Coloma Fire Department would be appreciated.
