To submit a news item to the Argus, mail it to PO Box 838, Wautoma, WI
54982, e-mail it to
argus@wausharaargus.com, fax it to (920) 787-2883, or drop it
off at the Argus office, located on States Roads 21 and 73 across from
McDonald's in Wautoma. The deadline is Monday by 5 p.m. for inclusion in
that week's paper.
News items should be typed or written legibly and double spaced for
editing purposes. "Thank yous" will not be accepted as news items. All
submissions will be printed at the discretion of the editor and will be
subject to editing.
All letters to the editor must have a written signature, which will be
published. Please also include a telephone number and address so the
letter can be verified, if necessary.
Letters should be typed double spaced and be no longer than one page in
length. Each person may have no more than four letters printed per year.
The Argus will not run any political letters the last two weeks before any
elections or referendums. If you wish to endorse a candidate, you may do
so by placing an ad.
The Argus asks that all letter writers use common sense and caution. The
letters must not be personal attacks, but should be about issues. Letters
may be edited as deemed necessary.
