Feb. 28 - Classic children’s tales, including The Poky Puppy, Ferdinand the Bull, and Harold and the Purple Crayon. Craft to follow.

March 7 - Books on breakfast in honor of National Breakfast Day on March 13. The library will have several kinds of cereal available for a snack afterwards.

March 14 – “Hear Me Roar!” All about lions, with a craft to follow.

March 21 – “Dance, Dance, Dance!” Following story time, you will explore difference dances from around the world.

March 28 - Big machines - Learn about tractors, fire engines, and cranes. An activity and snack will follow.

Game and taco night at Poy Sippi Library: Remember board games? You know, the ones that people actually got together to play, rather than played alone on their phones? Well, the Poy Sippi Public Library will be having a good old-fashioned game night at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 19, right here at the library. Show off your trivia knowledge by playing Trivial Pursuit, or try your hand at Scrabble or Monopoly, to name just a few. To top it all off (pardon the pun), the library will be offering a build-your-own taco bar with all the toppings, so you can much while you play. Poy Sippi Library will need to know about how many people to expect, so please call the library at 920-987-5737 to register, or send an email to director@poysippilibrary.org. The library hopes to see you there.

There’s no place like gnome: Spend an evening at the Poy Sippi Public Library creating your very no-sew own spring rabbit gnome from a sock. They are adorable. All supplies will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Great for all ages – youth and adults. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. Heidi Hensel-Buntrock, Waushara County 4-H Educator, will be conducting the class. Please contact the Poy Sippi Library at 920-987-5737 or email the director to register for this workshop.

Book club picks through March: Join the library at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, to talk about The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson.

Then on Wednesday, March 26, talk about the Art of Racing in the Rain, the New York Times bestselling novel by Garth Stein.

Please sign up by calling the library at 920-987-5737, or by emailing director@poysippilibrary.org. Copies of both books are available by calling the library.
