All are welcome to join UW-Madison Division of Extension on Thursday, Jan. 18th, from 1-3 p.m., for a meeting discussing Beef Cattle & Soil Health at the Waushara County Courthouse in Wautoma.
Maintaining healthy cattle is a key part of a strong grazing program. This meeting will feature Extension Regional Livestock Educator, Adam Hartfiel, as he shares ways to keep cattle healthy during the winter months to protect animal welfare and profit margins. Extension Regional Crops Educator, Natasha Paris, will share about research that has been done in Wisconsin that examines the relationship between grazing and soil health indicators and what those indicators can teach us. This event is free to attend. To register or request an accommodation please visit go.wisc.edu/5szL78 or call the Waushara Extension office at 920-787-0416.
For further questions please contact Natasha Paris, Regional Crops Educator, at natasha.paris@wisc.edu or 608-228-8325.
