Computer Classes – Classes start March 23, Wednesdays 4:30 - 7:20 p.m.; online and/or in person Basic Computer Skills, Intro to MS Word, Intermediate MS Word, Intro to MS Excel, Intermediate MS Excel, Intro to MS PowerPoint, Intermediate MS PowerPoint, Intro to MS Access, Intermediate MS Access, and Desktop Publishing/MS Publisher.

Weld Print Reading #63573 – Mondays March 28 - May 16 4 - 7 p.m.; Provides practice in reading shop drawings. Topics include orthographic projection, auxiliary views, revolved sections, surface and centerline relationships, isometric drawings, scale drawing and tolerances.

CPR – Heartsaver AED and First Aid #61738 – Tuesday, April 26, 5 - 10 p.m.; Teaches and evaluates CPR/AED, rescue breathing, relief of choking and basic first aid for adult until an ambulance arrives. Students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/First Aid e-Card with two-year certification.

First Aid Seminar #61741 – Tuesday, April 26, 5 - 8 p.m.; Presents and evaluates basic first aid skills necessary to care for the ill and injured until medical help arrives. Students receive an American Heart Association First Aid e-card with two-year certification.

AHA BLS Provider CPR #61736 - Tuesday, April 5, 5 - 9 p.m.; Teaches and evaluates two-rescuer CPR, one-rescuer CPR, obstructed airway technique for the adult/child/infant, adult/child Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Students receive an American Heart Association Healthcare CPR e-card with two-year certification.

AHA BLS Provider Update CPR #61737 – Tuesday, April 5, 5 - 9 p.m.; Participants must have current BLS Provider CPR certification to enroll in the update course.

Home Alone Babysitting Safety #61839 – Saturday, April 30, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; This class teaches a babysitter how to deal with crying, tantrums, bedtime issues, and how to provide a safe environment. First aid emergencies & Infant/Child CPR will also be taught. Students receive a certificate of completion.

Quilting Techniques #62146 – Mondays, April 4-11, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; This class focuses on the basic techniques for designing and creating quilts for wall hangings, bed coverings, or home decorating.

Painting Watercolor Lab 15 hours #62132 – Tuesdays/Thursdays, April 19-May 3, 8 a.m. – noon; Focuses on the basic elements and techniques of watercolor painting.

Carrying a Concealed Weapon Basic #63415 – Thursday, May 19, 5 - 9 p.m.; This Wisconsin Department of Justice sanctioned course gives you all the pertinent facts and information on carry a concealed weapon in the state of Wisconsin. Upon completion of this training, you will receive a proof of training certificate that will assist you in applying for a concealed carry permit in Wisconsin. There will be no live fire in this class.

Farm Safety & Equipment Operation #65183 - May 4, orientation 5 - 6 p.m. Virtual online work, May 11-June 1. In-person, June 6-8, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and June 9, TBD; Learn how to operate a tractor over 20 PTO horsepower, including how to connect and disconnect equipment or equipment parts. Topics include specialized machinery for livestock, toxic environments, agricultural chemicals, blasting, fertilizer and the youth certificate program. Scholarships are available.

 

Container Gardening & Beyond #65069 – Friday, May 20, 1 – 3 p.m.; Learn the basics of decorative container gardening including the use of whimsical and creative up-cycled containers, plant selections and pairings, care and maintenance.  Students will learn about container selection and preparation soil/medium choice, plant varieties, fertilizing, and care.

GED/HSED – Fox Valley Tech offers preparation classes throughout the semester. First Steps to Success Orientation provides you with all the information you need to get started.

General Studies Classes – These classes are held every semester. We have online and virtual classroom courses available.
