Wautoma Public Library announces March events

The Wautoma Public Library, 410 West Main St., has announced upcoming events for the month of March.

Saturday, March 5 at 9 a.m.- Bluebird Nesting Box Workshop. Former president of the Wisconsin Bluebird Association, Tom Whalley, educates on Bluebirds and leads you in building your own Bluebird nesting box. Space is limited for this workshop. Call the library at 920-787-2988 to sign up. Building materials are provided, but if possible, bring a Phillips-head screwdriver or power drill. 

Thursday, March 10 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.- It’s Mar-10 Day. Join the library for a Mario Gaming Party (and other games too.)  

Thursday, March 10 at 3 p.m.- Join the library for a Special Spring Break STEM Activity- Tower building with clothespins and popsicle sticks. This will be led by UW Extension 4-H Coordinator, Heidi Hensel-Buntrock 

Friday, March 11 at 1 p.m.- Families are invited to attend a special Spring Gnome Rabbit Craft Project led by UW-Extension 4-H Coordinator Heidi Hensel-Buntrock.  

Tuesday, March 15 at 4:30 p.m.- Your library card has incredible value. Learn how to make the most of it at the Wautoma Library Electronic Resources Workshop. Discover Libby by Overdrive, Hoopla, Gale Courses, and more.

Tuesday, March 22 at 4:30 p.m. - Cooking with Librarians. Learn to make new dishes, sample food, take home recipes, have a great time, Sign up required. 

 

Saturday, March 26 from 9:30-11 a.m.- Wee Play- Families with small children are invited to join Wautoma Library for Wee Play. Children have the opportunity to play independently, with other kids, or with caregivers. Adults can socialize over coffee and treats. Snacks and juice are provided for children.
