Poy Sippi Public Library to host two movie days

Subhead

National Global Movie Day Is Saturday, Feb. 12, and to celebrate, the Poy Sippi Public Library is showing the movie “A Dog’s Way Home” at 2 p.m. at the library. The PG movie is based on the beloved best-selling novel of the same name and chronicles the heartwarming adventures of Bella (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), a devoted dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after being separated from her beloved human. Bring your favorite blankie and pillow and make yourself at home.

To celebrate a day of no school for the Berlin School District on Friday, Feb.  18, the library will be showing “The Mitchells vs. the Machines” at 2 p.m. at the library. Follow an old-school father and his plugged-in, filmmaker daughter as they struggle to relate as their family embarks on a road trip to her new college. Their drive is interrupted by a machine apocalypse that threatens to tear these unlikely heroes apart unless they can find a way to join forces and save humanity. This newly released animated film is rated PG.

Popcorn and soda will be served at both events. Please register by calling the library at 920-987-5737.
