Plainfield Library sponsors local fundraising opportunities

The Plainfield Library is sponsoring a Library Book Drive and Hat and Glove Drive in conjunction with the SOS program which is sponsored by the local churches and organizations of Plainfield, Almond, Bancroft and Hancock.   

“We are attempting to fill our giraffe book shelf with children’s’ books,” said Director Deb Sadowski.

 

“You can bring your books in anytime in the month of November, hats, scarves and gloves can be added to the basket or garland at the library.”

 

The books and other items will then be dropped off at the Plainfield United Methodist church and be added to the food and gift boxes that will be distributed for Christmas.
