Tri-County School District’s Artist of the Week

Student: Alayna Peterson

Alayna Peterson is a sophomore at Tri-County in 2D Art, Section 1, with her art teacher Jen Montgomery.  Alayna’s project was to create a replica painting.  Alayna chose to replicate a painting by Jim Dine from 1992, called My Name is Jim Dine 2.  Alayna did a very nice job on this acrylic painting that measures 18” x 24”.  Alayna worked very hard to mimic the colors and brush strokes used in this piece.
