John and Vicki Jenks, Wild Rose, co-founders of the 8th annual American Red Cross HEROES Musicales, welcomed community members into their home for three concerts by the Kat Trio, Greg Boerner, and Liam Teague and Robert Chappell on Armed Forces Day, May 16.

A CFS Specialties grain truck from Cashton overturned at the corner of 5th Avenue and State Road 73 in Plainfield near the BP gas station on May 12. The Plainfield Police Department responded to the scence.

The Tri-County High School math team was recently named the Central Wisconsin Math League (CWML) champions for 2014-15. For the 17th year in a row, the Math League team finished in first place out of 17 schools for Division 4.
