CSA/Central Security Alarms, an exclusive authorized agent for U.S. Cellular recently, received the National U.S. Cellular’s Elite Performers award for the excellence in customer service and their professional knowledgeable assistance. In September, CSA/Central Security Alarms, LLC d/b/a/ CSA Wireless, an exclusive authorized agent for U.S. Cellular, in Waupun and Wautoma, Wisconsin was notified they had won the National U.S. Cellular’s prestigious “ELITE PERFORMERS” award.

Michigan Technological University (MTU) student Theodore Kretzmann and Dean of MTU’s College of Engineering Wayne Pennington hold the $5,000 check Charter One awarded Kretzmann, Poy Sippi, as part of its TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship program. Kretzmann is one of only 10 students in the country to receive this scholarship honoring superior community service efforts.

Charter One announced that Michigan Technological student Theodore Kretzmann, Poy Sippi, has been selected as a recipient of its fourth annual TruFit Good Citizen $5,000 Scholarship.

On Oct. 13, a Waushara County Highway Department truck rolled over off the shoulder of 4th Avenue, Town of Coloma. No one was injured in the accident. The county trucks were in the area to finish roadwork on Cypress Avenue.

The Waushara-Wautoma Senior Community Center will hold their 1st annual CHAIR-ity Black Tie Gala and Silent Auction on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 5-9 p.m. 

Mt. Morris Township, rural Waushara County was renamed Mt. Ingersoll and Mt. Jensen for a day recognizing the overall fastest female and male contestants in the Reach the Peak 15K. Valerie Ingersoll, Manawa, finished the women’s 15K race with a time of 1:03:47, a pace of 4:15/K.
