Wautoma High School to offer Community Prom April 6

On Sunday, April 6 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. the Wautoma High School Junior Class of 2015 will be hosting the 19th Annual Community Prom in the center gym (PAC side). The theme for the event is “A Visit to Candyland in the Afternoon.”

Faith United Methodist Church to host “Christ in the Passover”

Jesus’ Last Supper was actually a Jewish Passover. Irina Volodarska of Jews for Jesus will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover” at Faith United Methodist Church, Westfield, on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m.

 
WHS band students compete at World Strides Heritage Performance Festival in NYC

From the beginning, the Wautoma High School band encountered trouble with significant train delays on their way to New York City to perform at the World Strides Heritage Performance Festival, and upon arriving to their destination the bands’ difficulties didn’t disappear.
