The Waushara Gardeners will host a free workshop on planting basics followed by a general gardening question and answer session at the Wautoma Public Library on May 21 at 1 p.m. and May 23 at 5 p.m.

 
Area fifth grade students attend D.A.R.E. celebration at Parkside

Fifth grade students from Coloma, Wautoma, Redgranite, Tri-County, and Wild Rose came together on May 9 to celebrate their graduation from the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Program at Parkside Middle School.

 
Princeton students and teachers raise money for Wild Rose Fish Hatchery

Princeton third grade students in Janet Bogucke’s class toured the Wisconsin DNR Wild Rose Fish Hatchery with Assistant Naturalist Guide Joan Voigt and presented a check for $100 for use in the education center. 

 
T-C Math League takes first for the 16th year

The Tri-County High School Math League team has finished ahead of the competition for the 16th year in a row. Ranking first out of 17 high schools in Division IV, Tri-County posted excellent results after three meets that were held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

During the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) graduation on May 5 at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center, Wautoma, Waushara County Sheriff Jeff Nett presented Tri-County Elementary student Derek Lockhart and Parkside Middle School student Taylor Belfeuil the Buck Batterman Award.
