The Wautoma boys’ soccer team traveled to Mauston on Sept. 2 where they earned their first shut out of the season as well as the team’s first win.
In the match-up against the Ripon Tigers on Sept. 4, the Wautoma boys soccer team played tough defense throughout the game. The Hornets lost to the Tigers 2-1.
Wautoma’s only goal came from the Hornet’s Captain Jonathan Duarte off a penalty kick in the first half.
The Wautoma Hornet boys soccer team took control of the Sept. 5 home game early against Tri-County and never looked back.
With tough offense from three key players, the Hornets were able to secure the 3-1 victory against the Penguins.
