The leaves have changed color and, like temperatures, are dropping. Thoughts are materializing of hunting season and gearing up for winter conditions. This time is also the advent of Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, reminding us to be thankful for what we have, and to think of others less fortunate.
I am hoping to get the word out about something very disturbing soon to take place in our state. When the wolf hunt commences this fall, Wisconsin will be known for allowing dogfighting. Dogfighting is illegal in all 50 states; however, this barbarism will be taking place on our public lands!
It has been over a year since Marlin Pomplun was killed at the intersection of Highway 21 and County Road “B”. There have been several near misses at this intersection due to the height of the hill on the west side of CO “B.”
