Since we bought our house in Waushara County in 1995, we have heard horror stories of lake owners seeing their precious waterfronts become infinite sand bars and their docks stand tall and alone along the shore. So far our lake has not been affected.

Just wanted to drop a note to let you know what a great visit to Wisconsin a couple of friends and I had during the annual airshow in Oshkosh. We wanted a little quieter venue for overnighting, and we decided on Wautoma. What a stroke of luck for us!

Republican legislators have been spending the past three years of the Walker administration arguing that the state needs to clean up its fiscal house. Wouldn’t it make sense that the legislators do their part along with the taxpayers?

Now that the bids for proposed meeting building/senior dining addition have been revealed to be $140,000 higher than the donation thus requiring the county to spend substantial tax dollars to complete the project, I feel the county board should respectfully decline to proceed.
