ThedaStar transports injured male from Redgranite Quarry

On Sunday, June 29 at about 3:30 p.m. an accident between two men from Brillion occurred at the Redgranite Quarry.

A man who was swinging from a rope struck the other man with his left foot in the head while doing a flip. The man who was kicked was able to get out of the water where he collapsed and was in and out of consciousness.

Redgranite Police and Fire was dispatched, as well as the Waushara County EMS who called for the ThedaStar helicopter. The injured male was transported to ThedaClark. No alcohol was involved.

Heiden sentenced for felony possession of marijuana

York R. Heiden, 42, Hancock, appeared in court with his attorney Maris Rushevics for a plea/sentencing hearing on June 27 for two felony charges, Possession with Intent-THC (>2,500-10,000 grams) and Manufacture/Deliver THC (>2,500-10,000 grams).
