Redgranite sets basic skill requirements for police officers

At the June 17 Redgranite Village Board meeting, the board unanimously approved a list of basic skill requirements for village police officers, which must be met by Aug. 15 of this year.  The skill requirements include 24 hours of in-service instruction, passing a firearms training course, being current on CPR, AED, and EVOC training, having computer skills to run TRACS 10 and the Spillman system, and being able to pass various physical fitness agility requirements.
